Hello Photographers,
I have received all the clips for the month of September but I would like to make sure no more clips were lost. The following shooters have their clips safely in our office. If your name is Not on this list and you Did send clips, please email me right away. Also, there are VERY few Illustrations entered (actually, only 1) so again, if you sent an illustration during July or August, you need to ReSend it. I am truly sorry for this mixup and I have taken steps to prevent further confusion. Here is the list of those whose clips I have.
Loucks
Siegle
DeSisti
Wagner
Ferron
Poirier
Kinderman
Hoch
Lassiter
Langenfeld
Powers
Stocker
Wilson
Halmo
Again, if you are not listed and you sent me September clips, let me know right away. I’ll wait for about a week.

The 2007 WNPA convention will be in Milwaukee Friday-Saturday March 30-31.
The student judging will be at the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel at 1 p.m. on Thursday, March 29; pro contest judging will either be at the Journal Sentinel or the Hotel Metro on Friday.
After weighing the pros & cons, the board decided to have the speakers at the Hotel Metro this year rather than the Milwaukee Art Museum.
While a smaller venue, the Hotel Metro ballroom allows us to use the ballroom and a continental breakfast for everyone for the same price as the Art Musuem. It’s also easier for the vendors because they are closer to the action.
The downside is that we will sell out. We can squeeze about 120 people (standing room only) into the ballroom.
We anticipate one of our speakers will be a Canon Explorer of Light due to the gracious support of Canon. We also plan on another speaker being from Getty Images, who have sponsored Al Bello and Chris Hondros in past years.
The tremendous support from Canon and Getty has allowed us to get top-notch people while keeping costs down.
We’d like one of the speakers to be involved in multi-media. We have one other speaker slot as well.
If you have any suggestions please contact me at — mhoffman@journalsentinel.com.

Greetings News Photographers,
September clips bring the quarterly “Illustration” category and I may need some clips re-sent. Someone here at Capital Newspapers “cleaned” our photo studio where the clips are held and some clips may be missing. If you sent your Illustration clips from July or August during those months, I will need new copies. Let me know if you are going to send them and I will wait for them until October 10. Thank you.
